Hail Recon is a mobile application designed to assist users with their hail reconnaissance activities, specifically for those who have a subscription to Interactive Hail Maps. The app offers several features to enhance your hail analysis:

Forensic Level Hail Maps

• Accurate radar-generated hail swaths provide detailed information about the size of the hail, ranging from ½” to over 3” in precise ¼” increments.
• The location indicator on the map allows you to determine your position relative to the hail swath.
• Using the Hail Finder feature, you can easily identify hail storms by selecting a specific location on the map and tapping "Find Hail in Current Map".
• The app provides on-the-ground hail reports, confirming the size and intensity of hail through measurements taken by storm spotters.
• You can switch between road map, satellite, and hybrid views by tapping the button at the bottom right corner of the map screen and selecting your preferred mode.

Address Markers

• Hail Recon simplifies note-taking during fieldwork, allowing you to keep track of your canvassed areas.
• You can drop markers at specific locations on the map, indicating details such as damage severity, hail size, wind damage, and additional comments.
• If you need driving directions to a prospecting location, simply drop a marker and tap it to access directions.
• The app also enables you to locate any address by entering it in the search bar, after which Hail Recon will drop a marker at that address on the map.
• Create comprehensive hail impact reports based on your address markers. These reports can be generated, viewed, and emailed directly from the app.
• You can review your address markers within the app or on full-screen maps.
• All address markers are private and accessible only within your own account.

Push Notification Hail Alerts

• Receive push notifications for hail alerts, which play different sounds depending on the size of the reported hail (small, medium, or large).
• You can subscribe multiple devices to your hail alerts, simply by signing in on each device once.
• Pause your alerts whenever necessary with a single tap.

Hail Recon seamlessly integrates with your Interactive Hail Maps subscription, giving you access to historical storm dates spanning over four years. By utilizing this app's functionalities and in-depth information, you can effectively analyze and monitor hail and storm reports.
